“Do people remember the exact moment they fall in love?” This first line in the book immediately had me wanting more. As I kept reading I learned that I LOVED the writing in this book! Unlike other romance books where they meet and fall in love, this one starts with the couple being divorced. It shows how they navigate co-parenting and being business partners. I can see why so many people relate to this book, it goes through real life situations that you can tell Kennedy Ryan wrote with so much care. I enjoyed seeing the characters develop throughout the book. They talk about therapy and that was one of my favorite things about this book, honestly wish I would have read it sooner! Before I Let Go was the first book I’ve read from Kennedy Ryan, the raw and real emotions I felt while reading this was incredible. I am looking forward to reading more of her books. 10/10 recommend.
