Hello my darlings,
One of my favorite compliments to receive are almost always about how good I smell. I put so much thought into how I want to smell or what scent I want people to smell and think “this is a Jacquie scent”. Dramatic much? Probably, but that’s so okay with me!! I love being told I smell good it gives me a little confidence boost and at the end of the day I think we could all little more confidence. When I want to make a bold statement, one of the ways I like to do so is by having good hygiene and a good perfume, no really it’s a HUGE must for me. You can imagine, when buying any type of perfume, lotion, body wash etc.. I try to think of what types of scents would I like for the type of weather, season and occasion. Smell goods are one thing I am okay with splurging if it’s worth it! So, here are my faves!
Viva la Juicy Gold Couture by Juicy Couture
Oh sugar!! If Carrie Bradshaw (a total fashion icon, who I aspire to dress like one day) was a perfume, I’d like to think this would be it. Gold Couture is my signature scent when it’s colder out. I LOVE using it in the fall/ winter time, but I love it so much I tend to wear it more then I’ll admit. The sweetness of the berries with the warm vanilla is just *chefs kiss* too good!! The look of the bottle is so cute. Gold with a pop of pink and a black bow… WAIT is this me in a bottle? This scent is perfect for the days where you want to feel bold and sweet all at the same time.
Ugh, I will sell my soul for this!! The fruity/citrus is perfect for going from spring to summer. This fresh scent is always on repeat in the summer for me. It is pricey but truthfully a little spritz behind the ear goes a LONG way. This has the “coastal grandmother/ granddaughter” aesthetic to it and I am here for it. However, I use this one more for just the special occasions and vacations.
Lastly, this one I use in the summer but I also wear it once in a while during fall. It is warm and airy so the scent reminds me of all the good moments, but also all the slow days. It is a very subtle coconut/ musk scent and is not too strong. Cloud lasts for a good chunk of the day, which is why I like to wear it a lot during the week for work and sometimes for those “‘running errands/ shopping” days.
Side note: I bought this Lavender Cloud by Being Frenshe on our honeymoon because I forgot my cloud perfume back home and now, I keep this in my car when I need to freshen up!
Oh! One more thing… I am ALWAYS up for a good Bath & Body Works haul. I will shop at B&BW for anything and everything. Whether it is for myself, my home or for a gift I am ALL about the smell goods. My favorite thing about B&BW is how they switch every season, it’s a great way to get yourself in the mood for literally ANY season. This summer, I’m using In The Stars mist and Cotton Candy Clouds lotion ( I am trying to find out if they have a perfume for this because I am obsessed with all things cotton candy!). Should I make a diary entry that’s strictly Bath and Body Works? Picture a mood board with different scents for wallflowers, candles, perfumes, soaps, body washes… not just for women but for men too! Let me know!
